1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Memoura application and website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Memoura is a digital locket service that allows users to link NFC-enabled jewelry to digital content — including photos and voice recordings — that can be shared between a giver and a receiver. The Service provides:

• Phone-based authentication via one-time passcode (OTP) sent by SMS.
• The ability to upload, store, and view photos and voice recordings linked to Memoura jewelry.
• NFC-based access to stored memories by tapping a Memoura piece of jewelry.

3. Account and Authentication

To use Memoura, you must provide a valid phone number. You will receive a one-time passcode (OTP) via SMS each time you log in. You are responsible for maintaining access to your phone number and for all activity that occurs under your account.

By providing your phone number, you consent to receiving SMS messages from Memoura containing one-time verification codes for the sole purpose of authentication. No marketing or promotional messages will be sent. Standard message and data rates may apply.

4. SMS and Messaging

Memoura uses SMS exclusively for delivering one-time passcodes for login authentication. By signing up, you consent to receive these transactional messages. You may opt out at any time by deleting your account, which will stop all messages.

Message frequency: One SMS per login attempt. Message and data rates may apply. For help, contact support@memoura.com. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message or delete your account.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all photos and voice recordings you upload to Memoura. By uploading content, you grant Memoura a limited, non-exclusive license to store and serve that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your linked recipients.

You agree not to upload content that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Contains harmful, abusive, or objectionable material.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

8. Intellectual Property

The Memoura name, logo, and all related branding, software, and design elements are the property of Memoura. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Memoura shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or content.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon account deletion, all associated data — including your phone number, uploaded content, and locket associations — will be permanently removed.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
