Memoura ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Memoura application and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

When you use Memoura, we collect the following information:

• Phone number — Provided by you at sign-up, used solely for authentication via one-time passcode (OTP).
• User-uploaded content — Photos and voice recordings that you choose to store in your Memoura locket.
• NFC locket identifiers — The unique ID associated with your Memoura jewelry, used to link givers and receivers.

How We Use Your Phone Number

Your phone number is used exclusively to send you one-time passcodes (OTP) for authentication purposes. We will:

• Send SMS messages containing a one-time verification code when you log in.
• Never send marketing messages, promotional content, or any communication unrelated to authentication.
• Never sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your phone number to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

OTP messages are delivered via Twilio, our SMS service provider. Twilio processes your phone number solely to deliver the authentication code on our behalf and is bound by their own privacy obligations. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

How We Use Your Content

Photos and voice recordings you upload are stored securely and are accessible only to the giver and the linked receiver of a Memoura locket. We do not access, analyze, sell, or use your content for any purpose other than providing the Memoura service to you.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service:

• Twilio — Processes your phone number to deliver OTP messages. No other data is shared with Twilio.
• Infrastructure providers — We use cloud hosting to store your encrypted content securely.

Data Retention

We retain your phone number and uploaded content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
• Withdraw consent and close your account at any time.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date.
